Regarded as one of the best live bands in the world, Muse has been a powerful force in the world of rock music. With the release of the second album Origin of Symmetry (2001) they were able to build off their radioheadesque first album and create their best album to date. With monstrous guitar riffs and an amazing driving base mixed in with the occasional beautiful piano Muse are able to create a monstrous album. From the first song New Born to the last song Megalomania you won’t be disappointed for giving this album a try.

Kasabian released, this, their debut album in 2004 to much acclaim. The albums debut single “Club Foot” was a major success and can still be heard on television quite often whether it is attached to a commercial or a part of a soundtrack to a television show. This album leaning towards the more dancy or “baggy” side of rock is one of the best debut albums of the past decade and it would be a shame for anyone to pass up. As many of you may already know I had an unfortunate hockey accident about a week back. This accident has left me couch bound for the next couple months. Because of this I have decided it would be a great time to play some video games and heck even go back back and beat some games I put aside long ago. To start it off I have already beaten inFamous and the Fable 2 DLC’s. So here’s to a summer of no work and a lot of sitting on my ass.
